For The Rapha Continental

Nestled alongside the California border, flanked to the West by the Sierras, Carson City was the childhood home of young Greg Lemond, the three time winner of the Tour de France (86’, 89’, and 90’), and now the only American to officially ever win the tour.

As a teenager in the late 70s, Greg had these European quality grades and endless, spectacular ribbons of alpine roads to train on. They were all right in his backyard, and helped him win the greatest bike race in the world, three times over.

A crew from Rapha traveled to Nevada to meet Greg, and to experience riding the roads that raised a champion.
